Today has been a day for hiding away, for allowing my brain to wander.
Just now I am right in the middle of all the complexities, the questions, the hope, the excitement, the uncertainty, the dreams of matching. Instinctively I know that what I need right now is not to worry or try to make big decisions or even little decisions, but about collating ideas, allowing thoughts to dwell, letting my conscious and my subconscious slowly put things together while I feed in the ingredients of information and views, and then provide space and time for those thoughts to marinade.
I have had conversations online and offline about whys and wherefores. I have read a magazine, chatted about work, caught up on news of friends of friends, zoomed through Facebook, moved a sofa, watched a DVD.
Today is not a day for a long analytical blog post. Rather it is a day for gently observing that where I am is ok, that all is well and that all will be well.
And thus I shall sign off. I shall make hot chocolate, read a bit, and head for bed.
For a few minutes Oh Brain you were captured and put to work but now Go: I set you free again to wander.
Totally totally love what u have written. And ur sooooo right we need days of unadulterated processing and non intense brain walking!!:-)
Cheers, thank you. Lovely comment that made me smile as my brain briefly engaged (it’s gone again now!)
